Feedback regarding the usefulness of the Access Guide and suggestions for improvement are encouraged and greatly appreciated. | Locate Strategies, Accomodations and Technologies for the LCC | To locate strategies, accomodations and technologies for the LCC, select the content area, grade, unit, and activity in which you are interested.

Your selection will return information organized in three different tabs. To switch from strategies to accommodations or technology alignments, simply click on the associated tab:
- Strategies - skills or techniques used to assist in learning.
- Accommodations – any technique that alters the academic setting or environment to help a student access the curriculum and validly demonstrate learning. An accommodation generally does not change the information, amount of information learned, or performance criteria.
- Assistive Technology (AT) - is a generic term that includes any item, piece of equipment, or product system, acquired commercially off the shelf, that is used to increase, maintain, or improve functional capabilities of individuals with disabilities.

- Instructional Decision-Making Cycle — a graphic illustration of the process a team can use in problem solving for learning challenges; helpful pop-up research is available.

Instructions for viewing the PDF files:
The PDFs open in a view that shows the full page on the screen. To zoom the page to a level that allows you to read the page content, right-click on the page and select the "Marquee Zoom" option from the menu. This will turn the mouse pointer into a magnifying glass which allows you to enlarge the page size. Click on the page until you reach the desired zoom level, or hold the left mouse button and drag the mouse pointer over an area on the page to zoom into that particular page area. To zoom out of the page again, hold the "Ctrl" button while clicking.

Note that if you have an older version of Acrobat Reader, the zoom functionality might work slightly differently, but is still available. |
